I’m unable to form an opinion!!!! Mostly there’s no sound I like better than a solid disco funk groove, engaged to satisfaction by master musical archivists. I was also swayed by badass YSL ads and the Robespierrean zeal with which Daft Punk declared they were going to return to the innovative revolutionary roots of electronic music. Ze fundamentals! Regardez! la Panthéon! Nothing will be leaked from the absolutely centralized release-date state!
On the other had, Daft Punk has always skated gracefully around the Eurotrash vortex without falling in, so S.M.D.H. for eternity at basically turning a promising concept into a Neptunes/Pharell vehicle.
